Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker/Packer - Swing Shift
Location: Auburn, WA
Pay: $18-$19 per hour
Schedule: Sunday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) & Monday - Thursday (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) with overtime and weekends based upon workload. The earliest start time could be 2:00 pm and the latest end time is 12:30 am as well as no guarantee of hours

Warehouse Associate Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is a vital member of our logistics team, responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. Key responsibilities include executing Value Added Services (VAS) such as folding, ticketing, and bagging merchandise, as well as picking orders by retrieving products from shelves to fulfill customer requests. This role involves significant movement and physical activity during the picking process. Once items are selected, associates will meticulously pack merchandise into boxes, adhering to detailed procedures to ensure accuracy and quality. Additionally, Warehouse Associates may engage in other essential duties including cycle counting, processing inventory, loading and unloading shipments, sorting and palletizing products, and operating warehouse equipment. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Picking and Packing Associate Job Description:
- This position requires accuracy, speed, physical endurance, and excellent attendance.
- Able to pick and pack merchandise orders accurately and meet minimum productivity picking and packing standards.
- Able to pick merchandise from specific locations via paper pick ticket, RF or voice directed commands.
- Able to use a headset for interactive communication with voice-directed picking system.
- Able to pack orders neatly and correctly into appropriately sized box to avoid bending, crushing, shifting, or leaking of items in transit.
- General housekeeping of the warehouse work areas as needed i.e., disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately into proper recycle/disposal containers to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
- Agility to bend, twist, stoop and reach above shoulders to floor-level & upper shelving, conveyor, and merchandise pallets.
- Proficient competency level in reading, understanding and verbally communicating in English to carry out written or verbal instructions. Proven competency to speak and read English.
- Good basic math skills - ability to count, add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide.
- Ability to work in a three-story pick mod and be able to continuously climb and descend stairs safely.
- Stamina to stand, walk, push, or pull cartons or pick carts and perform repetitive duties for entire work shift.
- May have to walk up to 8 miles per shift and endure hot or cold temperatures throughout the facility.
- Able to lift and or move cartons up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day.
- Able to work well with others in confined spaces, have a good team mentality.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Experience with Value Added Services (VAS) such as folding, ticketing, and bagging merchandise is a plus.
- Background in inventory control or cycle counting is beneficial.
- Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Ability to follow step-by-step procedures for packing and processing merchandise.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 35 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Capability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance.
