Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:55 am to 2:25 pm

Warehouse Associate Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily operations in a fast-paced food-grade distribution environment. Primary responsibilities include handling, organizing, and preparing tuna can products for shipment and delivery. This role involves palletizing cases, picking customer orders, shrink-wrapping pallets, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining inventory accuracy. All duties must be carried out in compliance with food safety protocols and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and thrives in a structured team environment with consistent productivity targets.

Additional duties may include:

• Unloading inbound shipments and verifying product counts.

• Inspecting product condition and reporting any damages or discrepancies.

• Rotating inventory (FIFO method) to ensure freshness.

• Assisting with monthly and cycle inventory counts.

• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience in food or consumer goods distribution preferred.

• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled (ambient or refrigerated) environment.

• Ability to lift and maneuver cases weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.

• Capable of standing, lifting, bending, and moving for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

• Must work well independently and as part of a collaborative warehouse team.
