New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is IMMEDIATELY HIRING a highly motivated QC Technician and Sample Technician for a hardwood flooring manufacturer in Kent.

Job Title: QC / Sample Technician
Locations: Kent, WA
Pay: $22-$22/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

Warehouse QC/Sample Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. They will also be in charge of measuring products and cutting samples of products.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Must have 1 year of experience in QC/Manufacturing
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience with hand tools or willingness to learn how to use hand tools REQUIRED
• Self-motivated, quick learner
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintains quality standards, and participates in quality inspections, records & report results.
• Inspects incoming materials by confirming specifications; and rejecting unacceptable materials.
• Inspects questionable products by confirming specifications.
• Regular communication to the product teams
• Documents inspection results; inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment and testing up to date
• Physically able to lift to 30 lbs regularly
• Ability to work well with others
• Daily inspection of finished goods
• Ability to stand for long periods and do repetitive motion-type work
