Local food production company celebrated for high-quality products and commitment to excellence is currently seeking experienced Production Workers/Machine Operators to join our dedicated team and help us maintain our high standards of operational excellence.

Job Title: Production Worker/Machine Operator
Location: Renton, WA
Pay: $19 - $22/hr (DOE)
Available Shifts: Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM, OR 2 PM - 10:30 PM, OR 10 PM - 6:30 AM
Benefits Offered: Paid Weekly, Paid Training, Paid Sick Leave, Affordable Healthcare Plan, Simple IRA (401K)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-hire

Position Summary:

In this fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve production goals and maintain an efficient workflow. Your experience in a manufacturing setting will be essential as you troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, significantly impacting our production operations and the company's overall success.

 

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (required).
  • Experience operating high-speed manufacturing, printing, or packaging equipment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards (preferred).
  • Previous lead or management experience in a production setting (preferred).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with machine maintenance (preferred).
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and inspection techniques.
  • Awareness of workplace safety standards and practices.
  • Basic understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
