A local beverage manufacturer is hiring highly motivated individuals for a skilled Inventory Control position.
Job Title: Inventory Control Lead
Locations: Renton, WA
Pay: $25-$25/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Dayshift

Inventory Control Lead Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory control processes within the warehouse. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the inventory by implementing effective inventory management practices. The Inventory Control Lead will supervise a team of inventory control specialists and work closely with other departments to optimize inventory levels, reduce discrepancies, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Ensure inventory accuracy for Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Green Coffee Inventory.
- Overall responsibility for cycle count programs, including creating stock counts and performing data entry.
- Perform daily and weekly cycle counts against an established schedule, including weekly critical counts.
- Assist with green coffee cycle counts as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile cycle counts and perform recounts as necessary. Investigate inventory discrepancies to their resolution as directed.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve systems.
- Oversee dispositions related to excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Calculate KPIs identified by your direct manager.
- Lead and train employees on inventory best practices as necessary.
- Oversee and execute all inbound or warehouse-related transfers.
- Lead preparation activities associated with year-end physical inventory, including training count teams, preparing the warehouse, and participating in inventory audits.
- Responsible for reporting aging inventory, including half-life and pull-date reporting.
- Every employee has a responsibility to report employee safety, food safety, or quality concerns to their Manager immediately upon identification.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work well with all levels within the company and establish a solid rapport with internal and external customers.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory disciplines
- Experience in a food-related environment is a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP experience is a plus
- MS Office / strong Microsoft Excel skills
