Position: Install Safety Specialist

Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $32 - $34/hr (DOE)

Position Summary

The Install Safety Specialist will play a critical role in supporting field installation crews by ensuring compliance with OSHA/DOSH standards, promoting proactive safety practices, and driving accountability across multiple job sites. This position is heavily field-based, focusing on inspections, incident response, documentation, and delivering practical safety training. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can connect with crews, influence safe behaviors, and serve as the trusted link between field teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety-related or construction field experience.

• OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred (must obtain within 60 days if not certified).

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOSH, and local safety regulations.

• Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build rapport.

• Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• This position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish. The role involves regular communication with Spanish-speaking clients as well as collaboration with employees whose primary language is Spanish. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak both languages at a professional level to ensure clear and effective service and teamwork.
