New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is hiring a CNC Machinist for one of our manufacturing clients in Kent, WA. This role supports day-to-day machining operations across a variety of equipment, including conventional lathes, CNC mills, and 5-axis machines. It’s a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, experienced, and comfortable working in a precision-driven manufacturing environment.

Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Kent, WA
Pay: $38 – $42/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional/manual lathes and CNC machines
• Run and adjust 5-axis machining centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Perform precision machining to tight tolerances on various materials
• Select tooling, set offsets, and make program edits as needed
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Maintain accurate documentation and production records
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with Conventional/manual lathes, CNC machining (mills and/or lathes), 5-axis machining preferred
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
