Job Title: Entry-Level Production Associate
Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $17.25/hour base + built-in overtime every other week. Employees typically earn the equivalent of ~$19–$21/hour across the pay period due to scheduled overtime.
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday - Sunday (OT as needed)

What You’ll Do

• Learn to set up machines and begin production cycles
• Operate and adjust conventional manufacturing equipment including presses, routers, drill presses, and saws
• Monitor production output and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Read and interpret job orders and production specifications
• Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure product conformity
• Deburr and finish products as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn equipment operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn through hands-on training and mentorship

Pay & Schedule

Base Pay: $17.25 per hour. Employees are paid bi-weekly.

This position works a rotating 12-hour shift schedule:

• Week 1: 2 shifts (24 hours)

• Week 2: 5 shifts (60 hours, including 20 hours of overtime)

Overtime is paid at 1.5× the base rate ($25.88/hour) in accordance with Washington state law.
