New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is IMMEDIATELY HIRING for a highly motivated Skilled Production Machine Operator to work in a Coffee Roasting plant in Renton, WA.
Job Title: Skilled Production Machine Operator
Locations: Renton, WA
Pay: $19 - 22/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Skilled Production Machine Operator Position Summary:
Coffee Processing Operators will direct coffee roasting and packaging volumes through the manufacturing process. They will ensure the proper routing of coffee and predetermined quality and safety standards are met.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Unload, store, open, and dump green coffee beans into the receiving silos
- Ensure the proper quantity and type of green coffee bean is always available from the silos
- Blend, bag and weigh blended green coffee for outbound shipments
- Set-up and safely operate packaging machines including completing start-up checklists
- Perform quality checks, including inspection and cleaning of magnets
- Stage, load and unload finished product and raw materials using forklift
- Inspect and receive incoming deliveries, including completing In-bound checklist
- Replenish processing and packaging lines with necessary materials and take away finished goods
- Complete accurate records for all outbound shipments, including Out-bound checklist
- Follow all Health and Safety, GMP and food safety policies and regulations reporting any deviations to the Supervisor
- Ability to safety operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs is required
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
- 2 or more years of experience with production and packaging in the food industry is strongly preferred
