Job Title: Accounting and Payroll Specialist
Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $30- $35/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift with OT as needed

Position Summary:

As a Construction Accounting and Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. This position offers a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate will embody a strong work ethic, integrity, and a cheerful outlook, with a desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

• Associate degree in a business-related field; accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a weekly payroll function on an electronic platform.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions on an electronic platform.
• 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• 3 years of administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with Trimble Spectrum preferred; Procore experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Bluebeam, and 10-key by touch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow to meet deadlines.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
