Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Lakewood, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Compensation: $81,000 – $103,000 annually (DOE)

Position Summary:
 The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. This role is responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with audit preparations, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise and a proactive mindset, ideally with experience in the construction industry.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience; construction industry experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, or similar systems)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, data analysis)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• CPA or CMA designation is a plus
