Warehouse Janitor - Sanitation Support Position Summary:
Warehouse Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of large distribution warehouse and Annex locations by utilizing supplies, equipment, and efficient use of time.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 1+ years of related experience in a janitorial role preferably in a warehouse facility.
- Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision in the given timeframe.
- Able to identify problems and opportunities in the sanitation process and communicate to supervisor.
- Demonstrated ability to follow all established safety procedures.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, & other assigned supplies.
- Able to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Effectively communicate with others showing dignity and respect.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including on the weekend, and different days from time to time as needed.
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the warehouse.
- High School diploma/GED required.
